Premier Guitar‘s October issue features a two-page spread of the Gretsch G6128T George Harrison Signature Duo Jet guitar in all its splendor.
The model, based on George Harrison’s 1957 Duo Jet, receives praise by the magazine, which says it’s not only beautiful, but also comfortable to play.
“The finish is blemish free and beautiful,” said Premier Guitar. “The medium-thickness, slightly C-profiled neck is comfy, the frets are well dressed, and all the hardware twists, turns, and flicks with a solid, reassuring feel.”
They also made an online video review, which you can watch below.

While the Texas Rangers were celebrating their American League Championship at Ranger Stadium in Arlington, Texas, next door at the Arlington Convention Center, folks from near and far gathered Oct. 15-16 to celebrate the likes of vintage, new and rare stringed musical instruments at the Arlington Guitar Show.
Gretsch Guitars, TV Jones, and the Bigsby Company were on hand with a glorious exhibit of guitars, pickups and tailpieces.
Check out this closer look at Gretsch Bo Diddly signature guitar straight from the show floor:
