Soundgarden Releases Clip Of A New Song

Posted:

Soundgarden will appear on the soundtrack of the upcoming Avengers movie, and the grunge gods have released a snippet of theirĀ first bit of new music in 15 years.

“Live to Rise” will be available in full April 17 via iTunes, but the short clip reveals a true Soundgarden sound.

The band, which reunited in 2010 after a 13-year hiatus, offers crunchy guitars and the nimble drumming of Matt Cameron.

Soundgarden formed in Seattle in 1984 and is widely considered to have been essential in the creation of the grunge movement.
