Cage the Elephant Performs ‘Cigarette Daydreams’ on Conan

Cage the Elephant Conan

While in Los Angeles for the upcoming Grammy Awards Show, Kentucky rock band Cage the Elephant stopped by the set of Conan to play the track “Cigarette Daydreams.”

The single comes off latest album Melophobia, which received a Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Album.

To round out the song’s dreamy sound, bassist Daniel Tichenor pulled out his brand-new Gretsch White Falcon bass during the appearance, and you can watch it below.

Watch Interpol Perform ‘My Desire’ on Conan

Interpol recently stopped by the set of Conan to perform the track “My Desire,” which comes off 2014′s El Pintor.

With a dimly lit set, the Paul Banks-led outfit offered a dark and passionate version of the song, much to the delight of host Conan O’Brien.

The Decemberists Perform ‘Make You Better’ on Conan

The Decemberists’ first album in four years, What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World, won’t be out until Jan. 20, but the single “Make You Better” has already dropped in advance.

The Colin Meloy-fronted band appeared on Conan this week to perform the heart-wrenching track for the first time on television.

Watch the band roll through the lead single below, which drew raves from host Conan O’Brien.

Hard Working Americans Get to Stomping on Conan

Hard Working Americans is a new supergroup that includes Neal Casal (above) of the Chris Robinson Brotherhood, singer/songwriter Todd Snider, Dave Schools from Widespread Panic and Duane Trucks.

Earlier this year, the band released a self-titled debut album covering 11 tracks by a wide range of well-known artists.  As such, the Hard Working Americans recently stopped by the set of Conan to perform a rocking version of “Stomp and Holler,” which was written by country luminary Hayes Carll.

Local Natives Mesmerize Conan Audience

Local Natives’s latest album Hummingbird features several songs that tug on the heartstrings with the band’s trademark harmonies.

“Ceilings” is definitely one of those sweetly mesmerizing tracks, and Local Natives recently pulled that out on the set of Conan, where they were the musical act.
