Green Day Releases Trailer, Album Cover For Dos!

Green Day is at it again, releasing a trailer and album cover for the second in their upcoming trilogy of albums, which will be titled ¡Uno!, ¡Dos! and ¡Tre!

Having already dropped a trailer for ¡Uno!, view the next installment – along with a taste of new music – in the video below:

¡Uno! is due out Sept. 25, ¡Dos! will be available on Nov. 13 and ¡Tre! caps the series on Jan. 15, 2013.

Green Day Releases Album Cover For ¡Uno! In Video Trailer

Earlier this year, Green Day dropped plans to release three new albums over the span of four months.

This week, the punk legends released a video trailer revealing the cover of the series’ first offering, which will be titled ¡Uno!

Check out scenes of the guys in the studio and the cover below:

¡Uno! is due Sept. 25, followed by ¡Dos! on Nov. 13 and ¡Tre! on Jan. 15, 2013.

Green Day Post Another Studio Clip

Green Day has given us another short sneak peak into the studio as they work on their follow-up to 2009′s 21st Century Breakdown.

“We’re literally dealing with a new sound, and it’s fing with my head,” says singer Billie Joe Armstrong.

Whatever that new sound is, it apparently includes Gretsch.

Green Day Back in the Studio (with Gretsch)

Green Day is back in the studio recording a new album, and have even shared a quick video update. With drummer Tre Cool already in the Gretsch family, it was a bonus to see frontman Billie Joe Armstrong rocking a Gretsch axe.

Since the vid flashes so quickly, we thought we’d better check with the Green Day camp on the exact model. According to Billie Joe’s guitar tech, Hans, it’s the singer’s “’56ish (Gretsch) Anniversary.”
