Gretsch guitars and Cream City Music are excited to announce the Gretsch Day Event, taking place on June 30, 2012, from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Cream City Music store on 12505 West Bluemound Road in Brookfield, Wisc.
The event, which is free of cost and open to the public, will feature continuous musical performances by Bluegrass guitar pickers Nik & Sam, fingerstyle guitarist Bobby Gibson, and acoustic guitar sensation Jake Allen. Guests making very special appearances include Fred Gretsch, the fourth-
generation owner of the iconic Gretsch Guitar Company, and Gretsch Guitars Product Specialist, Joe Carducci, who will be presenting their annual Fred & Joe Show.
In addition, guitar artist Sarah Gallenberger will unveil her newest masterpiece painted on a Gretsch G6120 guitar. This one-of-a-kind Gretsch will be up for grabs in an online auction benefitting the Milwaukee-based charity Guitars for Vets.
Special offers on Gretsch products and guitars will be available to attendees throughout the day, along with a special Gretsch gift bag for the first 20 guests through the door.

Street Sounds in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, N.Y. was the premier destination for Gretsch aficionados on Saturday, June 18.
The largest authorized Gretsch dealer in the U.S. hosted its third Gretsch Day, where guests participated in guitar giveaways, raffles and presentations given by Fred Gretsch, the great-grandson of the company’s founder, and Gretsch product specialist Joe Carducci.
The music shop turned into a festive, Gretsch fanatic haven with the presence of Gretsch artist Paul Pigat, who gave an electrifying performance with his rockabilly sounds, and Gretsch poster girl Kim Falcon, who dazzled guests by taking photographs and signing posters.
One of the main highlights of the event was the Gretsch tribute to George Harrison exhibit, which featured a G6128T-GH George Harrison Custom Shop Tribute Duo Jet™ Guitar and exclusive memorabilia.
After the event, Fred Gretsch gave a walking tour of the original Gretsch factories in Williamsburg, located only 4 miles away from Street Sounds.

One of the country’s finest music dealers is preparing to host Gretsch Day, a star-studded event where attendees will indulge in all things Gretsch.
The event will take place on June 18 at noon at Street Sounds in Brooklyn, N.Y., where guests will participate in giveaways, raffles and a presentation given by Fred Gretsch and Gretsch product specialist Joe Carducci.
Other big names in attendance include Gretsch artist Paul Pigat, who will perform and talk about the great Gretsch sound, and the lovely Kim Falcon, who will be present to sign posters and take photographs.
