Award-winning Malian singer/songwriter Rokia Traore released her fifth studio album Beautiful Africa in April of last year, and as she traveled to promote it, she stopped into the studios of KCRW in Los Angeles for a live performance.
Now, video of Traore playing one song from that appearance on Morning Becomes Eclectic has surfaced online.

Hard Working Americans is a new supergroup that includes Neal Casal (above) of the Chris Robinson Brotherhood, singer/songwriter Todd Snider, Dave Schools from Widespread Panic and Duane Trucks.
Earlier this year, the band released a self-titled debut album covering 11 tracks by a wide range of well-known artists. As such, the Hard Working Americans recently stopped by the set of Conan to perform a rocking version of “Stomp and Holler,” which was written by country luminary Hayes Carll.

The legendary Cheap Trick’s recent feature performance on Guitar Center Sessions is set to air on Jan. 17 at 9 p.m. ET (10 p.m. PT) on DIRECTV’s Audience Network.
But, fans can get a sneak peek of the episode with a clip of the band playing “Surrender.” Make sure to note Tom Petersson’s incredible 12-string Gretsch White Falcon bass as the band turns in an energetic version of their classic hit.

When Seattle-based artist King Dude recently stopped by the Gretsch Artist Showroom, he put a solo spin on two of his haunting tracks.
The multi-faceted artist’s dark-themed folk is highlighted in these performances of “Watching Over You” and “Lord I’m Coming Home.”
