The Bayonets — the Los Angeles-based collaboration between musician Brian Ray and songwriter/producer Oliver Leiber — have been turning heads with their recent release of two singles, “Sucker for Love” and “Smart Phone.”
Now, the group has dropped a video for “Smart Phone” that features Ray playing his Gretsch G6118T and bassist Eva Gardner playing a Gretsch G5442BDC Electromatic. The clip is a solid representation of how smart phones have become such a part of everyday life, with footage of models taking ego-stoking “selfies” every chance they get.
