Stump-O-Matic ‘All Over’ Stump’s New Record
Posted: October 18, 2011

Gretsch signature artist Patrick Stump, of Fall Out Boy fame, has a new album, Soul Punk, that is now available.
And apparently, his namesake Gretsch Stump-O-Matic Electromatic CVT played a large role in the solo debut’s creation.
“Hey @gretsch, just so you know: my Gretsch stump-o-matic is all over that record,” Stump tweeted Monday night.
Fans can pick up Soul Punk in stores and on iTunes today, or stream all tracks right here, courtesy of Rolling Stone.
The new release marks a departure from the emo anthems F.O.B. typically produced.
Instead, Stump has said he drew from Prince, Timbaland and even Michael Jackson to offer clubby pop beats melded with earnest lyrics.
