Depeche Mode Featured on Letterman

With their new album Delta Machine coming out last month, Depeche Mode was the featured act on the most-recent edition of Live on Letterman.
The British electronic rockers performed several new tracks as well as a few classics from their extensive catalog.

Elvis Week Continues on Letterman with Brandon Bennett

The Elvis Presley showcase continued this week on The Late Show with David Letterman with a fiery performance of “Hound Dog” by Brandon Bennett.
Bennett, who was accompanied by Gretsch artist Wyatt Maxwell, is currently playing the role of “The King” in the Chicago-based production of “Million Dollar Quartet,” which celebrates the spirit of a recording session that included Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Presley. (more…)

Cody Ray Slaughter Kicks off Elvis Week on Letterman

As the youngest person ever to be named an Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist by Elvis Presley Enterprises, Cody Ray Slaughter has made a name for himself for his version of “The King.”
As such, it was fitting that Slaughter kicked off the Can’t Help Falling in Love with Elvis Week on The Late Show with David Letterman with a performance of “Jailhouse Rock.”
Slaughter, who is currently in the touring production of “The Million Dollar Quartet,” dressed the part in jailhouse stripes and black jacket and jeans while shaking his hips just like Presley. In addition, Slaughter was accompanied by Gretsch artist Wyatt Maxwell on the guitar. (more…)

Of Gentlemen and Cowards Perform on Letterman

Canadian band Of Gentlemen and Cowards has only been together for about two years, but it has already landed a spot on The Late Show with David Letterman.
Of Gentlemen and Cowards is made up of Jake Warren, Josh Dawson, Simon Edwards and Christian Fedele. The quartet beat out bands earned the spot after winning the Red Bull Soundstage music contest in August.
Their song “Save Me” will also be featured in We Made This Movie, a film by Letterman’s production company Worldwide Pants.
