I'm a newbie in this forum. I became a Gretschguy in 2007 with the purchase of my Electromatic. I love hollow bodies and Bigsby Vibratos. Lookin forward to getting to know ya and trading info. Relocating to Florida in a month from the flatlands of the midwest. Its all about the music

My nickname is Mo, I'm a moderator of guitars.ru forum (it's in Russian).
Recently bought myself a G6136T-LTV White Falcon. One of my dreams fulfilled

Play variety of stiles, mostly hard rock, classic rock, blues.
Also I own Fender Custom Shop Jeff Beck Strat and accoustic Yamaha Dave Navarro model. All of my guitars are white :lol:

Hello Y'all!

Just saying hi to everyone here on the Gretsch Lounge!!! My name is Johnny Gallagher, I play in a band called the Millwinders, from Toronto Ontario, Canada. I'm playing the Gretsch 5120 Electromatics, with Tv Jones Pickups, and I use a Fender 62 Tremolux Head and cab, or a 59' Bassman reissue, or my trusty Blues Jr laquored tweed! We play a whole mix of Rockabilly, Country, Jump Blues, R&B (the good old kind lol) and good old Rock n' Roll! I have always LOVED Gretsch guitars, I think they're the perdiest Geetboxes ever made, and the tone is just, me. Love em! Hope to learn a lot here, make some new friends maybe, and who knows, maybe one day get into a coversation with Brian Setzer, Paul Pigat, or WHO knows! That would be cool. I would also like to get a hold of Tavo, I need to get me one of those Dyno Brain's to beef up my Tremolux! Haha! Well, hope to talk to some of you's real soon!

Hello y'all! (At least, that's what my grandma would have said)

28 year old Gretsch player here...not currently in a band (anyone in NE Ohio wanna jam?)

My 5120 and my solidbody (not sure if it's a DuoJet or a JetPro, to be honest) hang out and play...mostly for my kids who frequently request Elvis songs.

What shakin' everybody? Last year I traded a Gibson for a wonderful old 1959 Gretsch 6119. Low action and one hot paf pickup. I'm smitten.

Hello Everyone,

I'm Joe, and I became a Gretsch-head this past year when I got an Electromatic. They are the perfect guitar for thumb picking (go figure!).
I've been playing for about 30 years now and feel like a beginner again cause this guitar is much fun to play, I am practicing more now than ever.
