Introducing the New Gretsch Roots Collection

Postby Brad Traweek - Gretsch » Sat May 26, 2012 2:06 pm

Gretsch is very proud to take players on a musical journey through nearly a century of great Gretsch history by introducing its Roots Collection of acoustic instruments. This exciting new family of banjos, mandolins, resonator guitars and ukuleles feature classically authentic Gretsch designs that transport players to a bygone era well before rock 'n' roll blasted off in the 1950s.

I picked up a G9310 New Yorker yesterday at Robb's Music in Boulder, CO. Thanks, Tim!

Great mandolin for the price range. Set up well, with nice fit and finish. The finish is especially nice. Sounded okay in the store. Good enough to buy with a rough set of strings. Got a free set of J74's thrown in---I changed them and that made all the difference.

I paid $239 and it sounds like it is worth three times that. Well done, Gretsch.
